Estonian developer Evecon, French company Corsica Sole, and Mirova inaugurated a 200 MWh battery park in Kiisa, Estonia, on 3 February, boosting grid stability after the Baltics’ European grid synchronisation. Funded by an €85.6 million package from EBRD, NIB, and Edmond de Rothschild, the facility provides rapid-response frequency regulation and helps mitigate electricity price volatility.
