The European Commission has approved a joint venture between Eni Plenitude S.p.A. and Société Générale’s Spanish subsidiary, Vulturno Investments S.A. The JV focuses on the operation and acquisition of solar, wind, and battery storage technologies. The Commission found that the transaction poses no competition concerns due to the companies’ limited combined market share.
