The Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Ltd.'s (MPPGCL) plan to construct replacement units of the Amarkantak power project with South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. has been opposed by the All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF), an umbrella organization of engineers working with state utilities, citing a dismal track record of joint ventures in the past.
