Egypt’s Minister of Electricity, Mahmoud Esmat, met AMEA Power’s Chairperson Hussain Al Nowais to discuss expanding renewable energy and battery storage projects. Plans include Egypt’s first stand-alone energy storage plants in Aswan and the Red Sea, totaling 1,500 MWh. The goal is to enhance grid stability and integrate more renewables.
