Energy Vault has acquired the 125MW/1,000MWh Stoney Creek battery energy storage system (BESS) in New South Wales, Australia, following approval from the Foreign Investment Review Board. Marking its first non-US “Own & Operate” project, the acquisition supports Energy Vault’s international expansion and asset management strategy.
