Power Grid Corporation of India (POWERGRID) has invited bids to establish 1,000 MW/2,000 MWh standalone battery energy storage systems across seven Andhra Pradesh substations. The award depends on POWERGRID winning APTRANSCO’s upstream tender. Selected bidders cannot participate in APTRANSCO’s main tender to avoid conflicts.
