Delhi government will induct 2,800 low-floor air-conditioned electric buses under the PM E-Drive scheme to strengthen sustainable urban mobility. The fleet includes 1,400 nine-metre and 1,400 twelve-metre buses, to be deployed in phases. These additions build on the success of existing electric buses, which have improved feeder and corridor connectivity.
