Polish renewables firm R.Power plans to develop 680 MW of standalone battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Portugal to support the country's energy infrastructure goals. It also aims to hybridise storage with 54 MW of its existing solar assets. R.Power sees Portugal as a key market, aligning with the country’s 2 GW storage target by 2030.
