Brookfield will invest up to $600 million in ACME Cleantech Ventures to develop green ammonia and methanol projects in India and the Middle East. The investment, through Brookfield Global Transition Fund, marks its entry into the region’s green molecules sector. Funding will support ACME’s project pipeline in India and Oman, supplying clean fuels and feedstock to domestic and international markets.
