Amprion has kicked off work on BalWin1 and BalWin2 offshore wind grid connections. BalWin 1 and BalWin 2 will have a capacity of 2 GW each and Amprion is working on Norderney island for the grid connections. The wind farms will be installed parallel to each other and horizontal drilling for cables will begin in May 2025.
