Australian transmission system operator Transgrid has approached Edify Energy’s Riverina and Darlington Point Battery Energy Storage Sytsem (BESS), totalling 150MW/300MWh for strengthening its network capacity in New South Wales. The Grid-forming BESS will facilitate in maintaining the system stability through the integration of advanced inverters capable of being deployed as retrofits.
