Axpo has begun construction on its second Swiss Green Hydrogen plant in Bürgerlen, which will produce up to 260 tonnes of hydrogen annually to fuel a passenger vessel on Lake Lucerne and support other applications, to start operations by 2025. This project is part of Axpo's strategy to develop the h2 ecosystem in Switzerland, reduce CO2 emissions, and promote sustainable transport solutions.
