A 300MW solar-plus-storage twin project, consisting of the Ganymirra and Majors Creek Solar Power Stations, will be developed in North Queensland by Edify Energy. Each station will feature 150 MW solar PV capacity and a 600MWh Battery Storage system. With federal contracts secured, construction will start in 2026, and operations are expected by 2028, creating over 400 local jobs.
