SJVN Green Energy Limited’s 70 MW Dhubri Solar Power Project was inaugurated on January 15, 2026 by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, marking Assam’s first large-scale solar plant. Built at a cost of ₹367.44 crore over 330 acres, the project will generate 141.13 million units in its first year at a ₹3.
