Andhra Pradesh has emerged as a renewable energy hub since June 2024, allotting 55 projects worth Rs. 2.88 lakh crore under its Integrated Clean Energy Policy, spanning solar, wind, PSP, and green hydrogen. For 2026–27, Rs. 13,934 crore was allocated to energy in a Rs. 3.32 lakh crore budget. The state secured major investments, including a $15 billion AI-powered data centre deal with Google in Visakhapatnam.
