Egypt and France have signed a €7 billion agreement to develop, finance, and operate a green hydrogen production facility. This collaboration was formalized during French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Egypt. The facility aims to produce green hydrogen and its derivatives, including green ammonia, supporting clean fuel initiatives and global market exports, advancing sustainable energy goals and fostering economic growth in the region.
