Air Liquide has reached a key milestone at its 200 MW ELYgator green hydrogen project in Rotterdam with the installation of first PEM electrolysers delivered by Siemens Energy. The project, expected to begin operations around 2027, will produce nearly 23,000 tonnes of renewable hydrogen annually and cut up to 300,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions by replacing grey hydrogen in industrial use.
