The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a $170 million loan for Egypt’s 1.1GW Suez Wind Project, the country's largest wind energy initiative. With a total cost of $1.1 billion, the project will generate 4,111 GWh annually, powering over one million households. It supports Egypt’s renewable energy goals, reducing CO2 emissions by 1.
