Ford’s Halewood factory will be producing electric power units that’ll power 70% of its EVs sold in Europe. An investment of £380million will lead to 700 jobs and a whole generation of EVs powered by UK technology. Halewood is now Ford’s first in-house electric vehicle component manufacturing plant in Europe and can ample up the slow pace of EV sales in Europe.
