ACEN Corp., through its subsidiary SanMar Solar, plans a 2,000 MWh battery energy storage system for the 585 MW SanMar Solar project in Zambales, Philippines. The P15.88 billion project will store solar power and supply electricity during peak demand while providing ancillary grid services. Currently, 385 MW of the solar plant is operational and 200 MW under construction.
