Maharashtra Energy Generation Ltd (MERL) plans to deploy 38 EV charging stations along the Samruddhi Expressway, integrated with 44 MW of solar power generation. The project aims to create a sustainable, renewable-powered charging corridor across one of India’s key high-speed highways. The initiative supports clean energy integration with EV infrastructure, reducing reliance on grid power and enhancing long-distance EV mobility.
