ABCI Infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. has won a 40/80 MWh Battery Energy Storage System tender from Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation for a project at the New Cossipore Generating Station in Kolkata. The project, the region’s first standalone BESS tender, will follow a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer model with a 12-year agreement.
