V.O. Chidambaranar Port (VOC Port), Tuticorin, has emerged as India’s southern hub for green shipping corridors, focusing on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and green hydrogen. During India Maritime Week 2025’s Green Maritime Day, leaders highlighted India’s green maritime vision. VOC Port, designated a Green Hydrogen Hub, will begin hydrogen and ammonia production by 2028-29.
