Waaree Solar Starts Solar Module Production in Texas Facility

Waaree Solar Americas Inc., a subsidiary of Indian solar manufacturer Waaree Energies Ltd, has begun trial production of its first Solar Module at its Brookshire, Texas facility. This makes Waaree the first Indian company to set up a PV module plant in the U.S. The facility’s 1.6 GW capacity will be fully operational soon, strengthening India-U.S. energy ties.
