Shree Cement to Invest Rs 1100 Crore for Solar Power Project in Bihar

Rajasthan-based Shree Cement will invest Rs 1100 crore in Bihar to establish a cement plant and Solar Power Project in Purnea district. The company has signed an MoU with the Bihar government to invest Rs 800 crore for a 2 million-tonne cement plant. An additional Rs 300 crore will be invested in a Solar Plant. Shree Cement is a top cement producer in India with an installed capacity of 46.9 MTPA.
