NTPC REL Wins 500 MW Solar Power Bid in SECI Auction

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy, won 500 MW of Solar Power capacity in the SECI e-reverse auction on December 9, at a tariff of Rs 3.52 per kWh. The project also includes a 250 MW/1000 MWh Energy Storage System. With a growing Renewable Energy portfolio, NTPC aims to reach 60 GW of capacity by 2032, up from 4.1 GW operational capacity as of November 2024
