KfW approves 24 Billion Euro loan to develop future Hydrogen Network in Germany
Germany is seeking to replace natural gas with Hydrogen to cut emissions and decarbonize the economy. KfW will provide a 24 Billion Euro loan to develop hydrogen networks. A core 9,040-kilometer network for hydrogen is to be build by 2032 as it is instrumental for the planned energy shift. Operators will have to invest Billions to modify their networks via so-called amortization account.
