Italian steel plant begins trial to use hydrogen to reduce emissions

Tenaris steel plant in northern Italy begins using hydrogen as fuel with collaboration with steel pipe maker Tenaris and Italian gas grid operator Snam. According to the Venture statement hydrogen fuel the furnace will last six months. It will track the performance of using hydrogen in the Steel industry, they stated. Earlier in may, Austria, Italy & Germany singed for Hydroegen transport network.
