California plans to 2GW of Long Duration Energy Storage
The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) plans to procure 10.6GW of new energy resources, focusing on 2GW of long-duration energy storage (LDES), including 1GW each for multi-day and 12-hour-plus storage.
