BEST Secures Approval for 125 MW Power Agreement

Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport Undertaking (BEST) filed a petition for a PPA to secure 125 MW of power, acknowledging the limitations of Renewable Sources like Solar Energy. Through competitive bidding, they achieved a favorable tariff of ₹5.60/kWh, ensuring reliable supply while addressing contract expirations. This strategy aims to replace the costlier existing Power supply.
