Australia Targets 4GW Dispatchable Power and 6GW Renewables
Australia’s Energy Minister Chris Bowen announced the government is seeking 4GW of Dispatchable Power and 6GW of Renewable Energy in the upcoming Capital Investment Scheme (CIS) tender. This new round, launching mid-November, aims to enhance energy reliability as coal phases out. The CIS is designed to attract investments while maintaining market incentives for technology and location choices.
