Zambia has launched the first bid window of its Carbon Feed-In Premium (CFIP) Program to develop 300 MW of grid-connected solar projects integrated with battery storage. Led by the Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Green Economy, the initiative invites global and local developers. Projects between 30–100 MW with onsite storage are eligible, with ZESCO as offtaker.
