Ireland-based Power Capital Renewable Energy Ltd has secured €250 million financing for the 395 MW Project Dolmen solar PV initiative. The European Investment Bank (EIB) will provide €100 million in senior debt under its renewable energy financing framework. The project, comprising four solar plants, will operate under RESS-3 and RESS-4 contracts, boosting Ireland’s renewable capacity and cutting fossil fuel reliance.
