Windey Energy Expands Cangnan No. 6 Offshore Wind Project to 300 MW in Zhejiang

Windey Energy Technology Group approved investment for its Cangnan No. 6 offshore wind project off Zhejiang Province, China, increasing capacity from 210 MW to 300 MW. The project will cost 3.07 billion yuan (∼$457 million), with 20% equity (∼614 million yuan) and 80% bank loans. It will deploy 20 turbines of 15 MW each via subsidiary Wenzhou Yunxin Wind Power, plus a new 220 kV offshore substation and onshore control center.
