The Department of Power, West Bengal, has invited bids to develop 500 MW/2000 MWh standalone Battery Energy Storage Systems under a BOO model through competitive bidding. Managed on behalf of WBSEDCL, the project aims to enhance grid stability and support renewable energy integration. Developers will build, own, and operate BESS across multiple locations, ensuring 95% availability.
