The European Investment Bank (EIB) is providing a EUR 250 million loan to support a 2,000 MW Wind and Solar portfolio by Burgenland Energie in Austria. This is part of Project Tomorrow, aiming to make Burgenland climate-neutral and energy-independent by 2030. The project involves multiple lenders, with EUR 200 million in equity and EUR 500 million in loans planned by 2026.
