V.O. Chidambaranar Port is advancing its green energy transition with major investments in green hydrogen, wind power, and green methanol infrastructure. The port has commissioned a pilot green hydrogen plant producing 10 Nm³/hour, already powering street lighting and EV charging. A ₹67.85 crore project for a 2 MW electrolyser will expand hydrogen output to 600 kg/day.
