Websol Energy System Ltd has secured 54.20 acres from the West Bengal Government at Falta Industrial Park, Kolkata, for a new solar manufacturing facility to produce solar cells and modules. The company plans 4 GW cell and 4 GW module capacity across two 2 GW phases, building on its existing operations at Falta SEZ and over three decades of experience in West Bengal, leveraging skilled workforce and supplier networks for faster execution.
