VSB completes 105 MW Elster Wind repowering Wind Project in Germany

VSB Group has completed the grid connection of its 105 MW Elster repowering wind project in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany, replacing 50 older turbines with 16 Siemens Gamesa SG 6.6-155 units. The wind farm will produce 235GWh annually, powering around 67,000 households. Legacy turbines were dismantled between 2021–2022, with components reused.
