DP Energy sold the 325 MW Saamis Solar Park to Medicine Hat, Alberta, after securing approvals from the Alberta Utilities Commission. The project, featuring over 600,000 solar panels, will generate power for 100,000 homes and offset 350,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually. The City plans phased construction, starting with 75MW.
