Volvo becomes the 1st global automaker to switch intercontinental ocean freight to renewable fuel, reducing CO2 emissions by 55,000 tons annually. FAME fuel, derived from sustainable sources like waste cooking oil, is used on container ships. Logistics partners Maersk, Kuehne+Nagel, and DB Schenker have also adopted renewable fuel.
