Coal India Limited (CIL) has recorded an impressive growth of 9.85 percent with production reaching 175.35 MT in FY 2023-24 as compared to 159.63 MT during the same period the previous year. Overall coal production in India increased by 8.4 percent to 222.9 million tonnes (MT) in the April-June quarter of the current financial year (2023-24) from 205.
