The Victoria government approved two major renewable energy projects: a 300MW/1,200MWh Tramway Road BESS by Eku Energy and the 332MW Meadow Creek Solar Farm with 250MW/1,000MWh storage. Together, they represent AU$1.2 billion investment and over 650 construction jobs. The projects will enhance grid stability, support renewable integration, and enable energy arbitrage.
