Scatec ASA has signed a 25-year USD-denominated Power Purchase Agreement with Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company for Egypt's first hybrid Solar and Battery Storage Project, totaling 1 GW solar and 100 MW/200 MWh battery storage. Scatec will handle EPC, asset management, and O&M services. Construction is expected to start in early 2025 after securing financing and agreements.
