Vedanta Group has invested over ₹21,000 crore through FY26 to strengthen India's EV metals ecosystem, expanding capacity across aluminium, zinc, copper, nickel, steel and ferrochrome. Vedanta Aluminium produced record 24.5 lakh tonnes in FY26, expanding BALCO and Jharsuguda plants. It recorded highest-ever copper cathode output of 170 kt and is building a Copper Rod Plant in Saudi Arabia.
