Uttarakhand Power Corporation Ltd (UPCL) has floated three standalone BESS tenders totaling 100 MW/250 MWh - 36 MW/90 MWh in Cluster A (Rudrapur, Kashipur, Haldwani, Pithoragarh), 23 MW/57.5 MWh in Cluster B (Dehradun Urban/Rural), and 41 MW/102.5 MWh in Cluster C (Tehri, Haridwar, Roorkee). Projects will be on BOO model near 33/11 kV substations, with UPCL providing land on RoU basis.
