Uno Minda is acquiring the remaining 49.9% stake in its subsidiary UnoMinda EV Systems Pvt Ltd (UMEV) from FRIWO Geratebau GmbH for approximately INR 195 crore. This includes intellectual property, know-how, and R&D team for e-drive technologies. The acquisition strengthens Uno Minda’s position in the growing Electric Vehicle market, especially for two-wheelers, with full ownership and expanded product offerings expected by FY 2026, driving growth and export opportunities.
