Uniper Global Commodities and AM Green Ammonia have signed a long-term binding offtake agreement for renewable ammonia certified as RFNBO, marking a first for an Indian company. Uniper will offtake up to 500,000 tonnes annually, with supplies starting in 2028 from AM Green’s Kakinada plant. The deal supports India’s National Hydrogen Mission, strengthens an India–Europe green hydrogen corridor, and advances industrial decarbonization across multiple European sectors.
