The minister of coal and mines, conducted a review meeting on Thursday to evaluate the operation of both commercial and captive mines. The minister assessed the performance of commercial and captive mines' coal production during a meeting with senior Ministry of Coal officials. The meeting focused on strategies to raise coal production from commercial and captive mines by 39% in FY2024.
