The UK government is working to finalize subsidy contracts for renewable hydrogen projects from its first hydrogen allocation round (HAR1) by May. These contracts, known as 15 year contracts-for-difference (CfDs), aim to support low-carbon hydrogen production. However, delays caused by last summer's general election and concerns over the Climate Change Levy (CCL) have slowed the process.
